In collaboration with Shikazono Laboratory of the Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), the University of Tokyo, we managed to reduce the volume of air conditioner heat exchangers. Applying the unique design and processing skills that produce superior performance than when the general fin is used, we successfully developed a geometry which mass produces fins of significantly reduced sizes; 1/10 size for air conditioning and 1/4 size for automobiles.
- Ultra-thinly processed plate thickness of small diameter flattened tube allows the omission of the conventionally employed fins and making the manufacturing possible without the influence of the heat conductivity of the material used.
